England in driving seat as India bowling attack fails

India's tactics and player selection were both found wanting as England piled on the runs on Day 3 of the 4th Test between the two teams.

Led by Joe Root's 150, England got to 544/7 in the first innings, taking their lead to 186 runs.

The innings was the first time India conceded 500 outside Asia and the West Indies in more than a decade, with their bowling attack looking underpowered at best.

Now, with 2 days to go, India have a mountain to climb to get back to this Test and level the series 2-2.
