Shubman Gill rewrote history books, becoming the the youngest Indian captain to win an overseas Test at 25 years and 101 days.
He broke Sunil Gavaskar's record, who was 26 years old when India beat New Zealand in 1976 under his leadership.
India levelled the Anderson-Tendulkar series 1-1 after a spirited display helped them win by 336 runs, which was also India's biggest overseas victory in terms of runs.
Gill played a crucial part in the match, becoming the first batter in Test history to score 250 and 150 in the same Test.
